Evolution Training Center welcomes you to its summer camp page.  We are proud of our summer camp program in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where young riders can learn all aspects of horsemanship in a safe and fun-filled environment in a beautiful setting.  In addition to quality riding instruction, riders will learn the basics of horse care, feeding, grooming, and barn management, learn about horse health from our veterinarian and get to watch our blacksmith in action.  Riders will learn and advance their skills on our fun and safe horses and ponies, and our knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff will guide campers through their daily activities, including arts and crafts, games, water activities, pony painting and mane and tail braiding, and even riding on horseback in the nearby Brandywine Creek!

SAMPLE CAMP DAY

·         9:00           Arrival and check-in

·         9:30            Horse and barn care, including feeding and watering

·         10:00          Grooming, tacking up, and riding instruction

·         12:00          Lunch

·         12:30          Water activity/arts and crafts/demonstrations

·         2:00            Trail ride*

·         3:30-4:00      Pick up

*Campers will ride at least once a day.

CAMPERS WILL NEED

·         Jeans or riding pants, and shorts and sneakers for non-riding activities.

·         Riding boots or sturdy shoes with a small heel.

·         A swimsuit, towel, and water shoes.

·         Plenty of water for throughout the day.

·         Lunch, snack, drink and ice pack in a labeled container.

·         Campers may bring ASTM certified riding helmets; otherwise, helmets will be supplied.

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

·         On Wednesdays, ETC will supply pizza in the afternoon.

·         On Fridays at 2:00, parents are invited to our camper horse show, where the riders will 
  demonstrate all they have learned during the week!

RATES, DATES AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• $375 per week, with a $25 discount available for siblings who register for the same week, or for campers who register for four or more weeks.
• To maximize the experience for all our participants, the minimum age is 7.
• Camp begins the week of June 20 and runs consecutively though the week of August 22.
• Space is limited; a $50 non-refundable deposit is required with all registrations, which will be applied to the weekly rate.
• Camp starts at 9:00 a.m. and pick-up is between 3:30 and 4:00.  Before and after care is available from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for an additional $5.00 per hour, per day.  Please note hours/days needed on your registration form.
• Tours of our facility are available by appointment.
• Please drive slowly when entering and leaving our facility, and through the adjacent neighborhood.
